We look forward to sharing the latest news and research on Integrative Medicine – where the best practices of conventional medicine and evidence-based complementary medicine meet. We talk about Traditional Chinese Medicine and nutrition with Ellen Goldsmith, MSOM, LAc, a nationally board certified, licensed acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist, and co-author of “Nutritional Healing with Chinese Medicine.” She specializes in Chinese dietetics and its application in a Western clinical setting. Ellen’s integrative body centered and intuitive approach to care is grounded in decades of study and experience which are key to collaborating and working with people to help them reach their goals. In 2001 she co-founded Pearl Natural Health, an integrative naturopathic and Chinese medicine clinic, and she maintains a practice in Portland, Oregon. Ellen is on the faculty at the National University of Natural Medicine’s College of Classical Chinese Medicine, where she teaches graduate students in the study of Chinese Dietetics and its clinical application.
